I am a bacp ( British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy ) accredited registered counsellor and have a degree - BA (Hons) in Person Centred Counselling. Previous to gaining my degree, I had gained a certificate in Psychodynamic counselling, and a certificate in Life coaching.
I worked for BCCS counselling agency in Bromley for two years as a student counsellor before qualifying in 2010. Since 2010 my private practice has grown considerably and I now work full time in my practice. I have also spent a lot of my career life as a counsellor within a Croydon primary school, and the BRIT school and now see children and young adults in my private practice, alongside the work I do with adults.
I also am a supervisor for counsellors working with vulnerable children; young people and adults with over 4 years management experience of working for the charity school home support. I also offer supervision for trainee and qualified counsellors working with adults.
Areas of Specialism
Relationship problems; learning to cope with change after separation or divorce; anxiety disorders; low self-esteem; bereavement and stress; parenting issues; addictions.
I believe that counselling works when I offer you the space to talk freely without feeling judged and we can together explore the feelings and emotions behind thoughts and actions. When these feelings and emotions are unlocked in a trusting and safe environment, we can work together at your pace, to bring about the changes you want.
